PayCert performs certification of electronic payment systems in Europe and worldwide, deployed by local schemes (for example: Groupement des Cartes Bancaires in France, Bancontact in Belgium, PURE in Brazil,…).
PayCert is also in position to deliver certificates on functional and security conformity, related to cards, terminals, readers, aquiring hosts and by extension connection to authorization network systems.
PayCert is an independent certification body accreditated by the COFRAC since 2015 (more information on our accreditation and its perimeter are available here: 5-0673.pdf.)
This ISO 17065:2012 accreditation is a proof of our Quality, Expertise and Impartiality that can be recognised via some mutual recognition arrangements set up to international level with the European Accreditation (EA) and International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
The team PayCert has a significant experience in applying a consistent and reliable Certification process, in the different application technologies of Banking, Mass Transit and Identity and participates to several certification programmes recognised at european and international levels (see more details in the section ‘Our ecosystem’).
PayCert habilitates also the laboratories evaluating the different products and validates their test tool. PayCert attests of the compliance of products tested by the laboratories against the technical specifications and relevant standards.

ELITT SAS and PayCert SAS, both subsidiaries of CB Investissements, merged into ELITT SAS on January 1, 2024.
Their activities are now carried out by two independent Business Units: BU Testing ELITT, the ELITT testing laboratory, and BU Certification PayCert, the PayCert certification body.
